This veterinary clinic, located in South Bangalore, was founded by passionate veterinarians and university friends. It offers state-of-the-art services, including ultrasound, X-ray, an operating theatre, laboratory services, and grooming.
Design Approach
The facility spans two floors. The
ground floor features public areas,
including the reception, consultation
rooms, pharmacy, and X-ray department.
There is a separate entrance for
grooming services, which helps to
segregate the flow of people and
designates public/client zones. The more
private areas, such as the doctors'
offices, inpatient rooms, operating
theatre, and laboratory, which do not
require public access, are located on
the first floor.
Upon entering the healthcare facility, visitors find themselves in the waiting area, which features beige and blue shelves displaying merchandise facing the reception desk.
The waiting area is adjacent to the main corridor, which accentuates the directionality by linear lighting. The common areas have an exposed ceiling painted blue (reflecting the brand's color) to reduce the height of the ceiling. In contrast, individual rooms feature white false ceilings to create a more intimate scale in relation to the volume of the space.
